Quick weight loss tips


Would you like to improve your overall health, get your dream body, get more energy and increase your well being? Here are a few nutrition and lifestyle tips which may help you to achieve your weight loss goals.

  1. Prefer unprocessed whole food.
  2. Don’t skip meals. Stick with 3 main meals a day with 2 smaller snacks between if you are hungry. Regular food intake helps you keep your blood sugar level stable and it will be easier for you to avoid sweet and fatty foods cravings and overeating.
  3. Good nutrition is a key for you health and successful weight loss. But don’t deprive yourself. Allow yourself some OCCASIONAL treat. The best option is healthy treat (such as a piece of dark chocolate with almonds).
  4. Use healthy eating plate as a tool for your healthy eating choices. Load your plate with 1/2 of vegetable, 1/4 of complex carbohydrates (always prefer wholegrain) and 1/4 of lean protein for your lunch and dinner.
  5. Have a lean protein with every meal (poultry, chicken, eggs, tofu, tempeh, beans, nuts, greek yogurt etc.).
  6. Do not eat complex carbohydrates for your dinner. Enjoy vegetable and lean protein if you want to manage your weight.
  7. Stay hydrated. Drink 2-3 litres of water or herbal tea a day.
  8. Enjoy your meal and chew slowly.
  9. Limit your alcohol, processed food and refined sugar intake.
  10. Say no to artificial sweeteners.
  11. Be active. It is recommended to exercise at least 30 min per day. Yoga, jogging, surfing, playing tennis, swimming, walking… anything. Do what you like and what makes you happy.
  12. Relax and sleep at least 7 hours a night.
