Do you need a sweet treat? Chocolate truffles are perfect afternoon snack if you need something sweet to nibble.
These energy-boosting bites are so easy to make. All you need is food processor and few ingredients.
The cacao powder is rich in antioxidants and minerals such as iron, potassium, magnesium, zinc, manganese, copper and calcium. It boosts your mood, protects your nervous system and reduces risk of cardiovascular diseases.
- 1 cup almond meal
- 1/2 cup raw cacao powder
- 2 tsp dark chocolate (I use 90% cocoa), grated
- 2 tbs coconut milk
- 1/2 cup dates, pitted and roughly chopped
- 1 tbs raw honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Cacao powder to roll
Blend all ingredients together in blender until well-combined. Then roll into balls and dip in cacao powder. At the end decorate with piece of dark chocolate. Enjoy :). Yum!
